Visit Mr Ralph's New Showroom!

February 22, 2019

Based In sunny Paeroa, Mr Ralph distributes lighting all over New Zealand, we are getting busier all the time, which is amazing BUT we were bursting at the seams trying to fit a growing Warehouse, Online distribution centre, Office and small showroom all into a 450sqm space.

Then late last year we got great news….the space next door which had been occupied by NZ Post for 100 years (ish) !!! Was going to be available…… We snapped it up and have never looked back.

A Space Dedicated to Light

So now we have a lovely space dedicated only to the showroom, 350sqm of lighting hanging off metal grids…..many of them lit, so you can truly appreciate the scale and the light output. Also Wall Lights dappled amongst them. The idea we had is for the Lighting to breath! Trying desperately not to cram everything together too much.

Kev and I manage the space and we open Tue-Fri 10-4 – working with lighting for nearly 6 years has given us an understanding of the complexity of lighting choices... Form and Function, often opposed, can totally confuse everyone! Don’t despair you are not alone!!!! Come in and have a chat, there is always a solution.

Paeroa Dreaming

Why Paeroa? Well we love this area, we moved to Waihi Beach 3 years ago, 25mins through the Karangahake Gorge and we are at work. No traffic lights and breath-taking landscapes each day……Practically Paeroa has it all, bustling Antique and Retro shops, lovely food and the gateway to everywhere. You can travel from Hamilton and Tauranga in less them 1.5 hours and Auckland in less than 2 hours… Oh I didn’t mention the local cycleways through the gorge and across to Thames.

We have discovered that we are a bit of a destination here… When you are renovating or building, some decisions are worth travelling for and Lighting is one. So, make a plan to visit us, bring along plans or anything else to help us access the best Lighting for you. It is also great when you have thoroughly researched the website, so we have a good starting point.

See you soon at 2b Seymour Street, Paeroa – North end of town, right behind the L&P Café.
